Pelosi Wants To Lower Expectations Of The Worst Congress In History, That Should Be Easy

Only the mentally deranged would be be exppecting one Iota of anything this congress promised anyone, and expecting their successor to deliver,a a legislative body filled to the brim with the same do nothing Democrats that have been there since 2006 with lower approval ratings than the hated Bush, and to soon be led by a completely inexperienced chief executive devoid of even one day's worth of executive experience in his entire adult life

Who me have high expectations from this group?.

I don't know a single, solitary soul expecting anything less than the worst possible outcome from this atrocious assembly of crooks and thieves Nancy, so this is something I really don't think should give you all up there on Capital Hill much of a problem, with the exception of coarse from the Obamorons out there.

Those gullible dweebs still on their knees in their government financed living rooms praying to their glowing Obama statues and collectors plates, waiting for their mortgages or rent checks to get mysteriously paid off and their free health care to kick in, along with monthly stimulus checks and for the seven rising seas to begin lowering along with peace and goodwill to sweep the planet as we all simultaneously hold hands and sing KumBah Rack together, ye Hail to the Great Gifted Chairman Of Obama, they might be a little disappointed, just a tad.

Democrats Try to Lower Expectations

- WSJ.com: "WASHINGTON -- Even as they depict a massive stimulus package as indispensable to turning the economy around, U.S. Democratic leaders are aggressively lowering expectations that the package will yield dramatic accomplishments quickly.

Rep. David Obey, who is playing a key role in assembling the stimulus plan, which is expected to approach $800 billion, said recently that an infusion of federal spending is 'the only game in town.' But the Wisconsin Democrat, who is chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, was careful to add: 'The downward momentum appears too strong to end the recession anytime soon.'

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer's office said recently that 'Congress needs to pass an economic recovery package to prevent any further decline in the economy' -- but cautioned, 'recovery will not be immediate.'

The expectations game is always tricky in politics. To win power, candidates promise to enact sweeping change. But once victory is in hand, they often scramble to lower those expectations so they won't be perceived as falling short." continued
