It's been proven that nothing motivates human beings into good and healthy behaviors more than a little bit or even a lot of sometimes painful ridicule and shame, and this is why we have obesity problems throughout the world and particularly this country and coupled with that we also have a growing ignorance problem in this country in particular.
The phrase No Pain No Gain will be the next thing to go in this left wussified human race to turn everyone into touchy feely Prozac and Ritalin doped up zombies.
All because of the above enumerated reasons but mostly because of the lowering of educational standards so the ignorant and hard to teach can remain ignorant through poor instruction so the teachers nor children don't have to work as hard and the poor kiddies don;t get their "wittle feewings hurt". Instead recess is replaced with hand holding and kum bah 101, American history is replaced with gay indoctrination seminars and Yoga is the standard PE class for preschoolers through college years. Soon it'll be the BCS Yoga Bowls on New Years instead of the traditional football games if the left loons get their way on this one.
Well now from that same crowd of Kum Bah Ya crooners comes the abolition of the RED PEN!! The big bad mean old red pen marks we all dreaded receiving should be abolished for the kids today who don't get A's B's or C's says an Australian loony bin. God forbid we would want to encourage a student to improve his or her study habits to become smarter and more informed like the other children who things seem to come naturally easier. Especially by giving them bad grades and distinguishing them from good ones with a simple painless red mark to give them and their parents, (if they're lucky enough to have 2 regular ones in today's upside down feel good for nothing world) something to work and strive for. The horror of it, imagine!!
The dumbing down and pussification of the world coming to a city and school near you!!!!
Seeing red over teachers’ pen marks on copies-
Hindustan Times: "Worried about too many red marks on your homework copy, made by your teachers?. Don’t feel bad. Sooner or later, those red marks may become a thing of the past.
In Australia, teachers have been asked to stop using red pen to mark students’ work as it can harm their mental health. A kit devised to help teachers to focus on mental well-being of the students offers a list of tips by experts that points out “Don’t mark in a red pen (which can be seen as aggressive) — use a different colour,” the Australian Associated Press reported.
The kit, was submitted in Queensland’s parliament on Thursday by Deputy Opposition Leader Mark McArdle. “Given your 10-year-old Labour government presides over the lowest numeracy and literacy standards of any state in Australia, don’t you think it’s time we focused on classroom outcomes rather than these absurd lefty policies?” McArdle asked Premier Anna Bligh in parliament. continued
