And the city doesn't like the portrait Bill O"Reilly painted that looks quite accurate to me, from my visits as a teenager 30 years ago.. Our Chicago's not far behind in some ways but thankfully still a long ways to go to get like this...
Here's a commentary from the San Freako paper SF Gate
City Insider : Bill O'Reilly hates us and the feeling is mutual:
SF GATE "San Franciscans famously fought back against Bill O'Reilly - the conservative Fox news anchor who really, really hates our city - when he said back in 2005 that the U.S. military shouldn't defend San Francisco in case of a terrorist attack. 'You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead,' he said.
Everybody from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Supervisor Chris Daly railed at O'Reilly, calling his comments outrageous.
Not content to leave well enough alone, O'Reilly has now sent an underling to the city to make a documentary to show where, supposedly, the politics of President-elect Barack Obama will take the country.
'The far left is emboldened now that Barack Obama has been elected president, and nowhere is the radical left government more on display than in the city of San Francisco,' O'Reilly said in introducing the segment." continued
