I guess the lesson wasn't learned by Harry Reid that senators need to keep their mouths shut tight when it comes to spewing invective and hearsay in regards to financial viability of companies and banks as his numb skulled New York buddy Senator Chucky Schumer did when he personally caused a major run on Indy Bank that basically ws the opening salvo of this banking crisis. Schumer is now being investigated for his role in the bank run when he made comments about the banks liquidity that the news media ran with and caused the run by customers on the bank.
Well as I said Reid must not have learned a damn thing from that epsisode because he's now blurting out that a major US insurer is on the brink now as he tried to drum up support for the Bailout Bill that he and his buddies on capital hill have turned into a left wing welfare bill for anyone and anything they can wrap their arms around in order to get votes in a month.
They should lose votes if idiots like he keep making boneheaded statement like this bolded in the 3rd paragraph below:

Candidates Leave Campaign Trail, Head to DC for Bailout Vote:
ABC News: "The Senate is poised to pass a revised Wall Street bailout bill tonight, but amendments to the controversial measure may raise the anger of some House Democrats and imperil its chances of approval in the House for the second time this week.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., pressed for passage, with the alarming news that one of the country's premier insurance companies was about to go bankrupt if the crisis was not quickly resolved.
'We don't have a lot of leeway on time,' Reid told reporters in the Capitol. 'One of the individuals in the caucus today talked about a major insurance company -- a major insurance company -- one with a name that everyone knows that's on the verge of going bankrupt. That's what this is all about.'" continued
Dingy Harry should be under immediate investigation as is Chucky, two US senators politicizing US banking breakdowns for political gain 1 month ahead of an election. Causing banking turmoil and troubles for you and I in order to try and secure more seats in congress and to help get Barry elected, simple as that.
Check the comments at ABC's page and you will see most Americans commenting there agree that Harry crossed the line and should be investigated immediately.
