Obama's Wife Solves Medical Crisis At UC, Shove The Non Insured Poor Down to Free Clinics

The whole Obama crew is involved with this "program" which really amounted to how to dispose of the poor uninsured pt's that show up at the snooty University of Chicago Hospital in our city here so as to not have to dispense free care to these people.Instead they shuttle bus them to surrounding free clinics and call this problem solved.

Sounds more like something Obama and his ilk would accuse the republicans of condoning and developing, not the vaunted man of the people and community organizers wife who care about the poor and disadvantaged now doesn't it?

Finally the media starts revealing some information that will be useful for voters instead of all the glowing superhero ink that Obama received for almost two years now. The media really did the left a disservice as they will soon find that they nominated the wrong person again and have tossed this election in the trash heap to the Republicans for pushing and creating this media monster, the Anointed One, an inexperienced empty suit who has no qualifications whatsoever to be a president of a corporation or family business much less the Unites States of America..

U. of C. shunning poor patients? ::

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Barack Obama: "Sen. Barack Obama's wife and three close advisers have been involved with a program at the University of Chicago Medical Center that steers patients who don't have private insurance -- primarily poor, black people -- to other health care facilities.

Michelle Obama -- currently on unpaid leave from her $317,000-a-year job as a vice president of the prestigious hospital -- helped create the program, which aims to find neighborhood doctors for low-income people who were flooding the emergency room for basic treatment. Hospital officials say such patients hinder their ability to focus on more critically ill patients in need of specialized care, such as cancer treatment and organ transplants."

Here's a comment I left on the board there where libs are calling for the tradition free health care mantra and all that other garbage that mostly people not ill think is best for those like mysefl who are and know better. Know that the health care we now receive would be greatly diminished if handed off to the inept democrats to run from Washington, people like Joe Biden and Barack Obama deciding who gets what I can do without

U of C is a not for profit hospital which by law is required to administer a certain level of free care to the indigent in return for their tax free status. The problem here is this hospital like others around the country are going broke in many cases providing care to illegals instead of Americans, so they look for ways to dump the excess of on other hospitals, it goes on everywhere.

In UC's case they "dump" 'em on free clinics in the area that aren't free to taxpayers who foot the bills for these "free clinics" just free to the poor who need them.

Thanks to MsObama's sly little maneuver to endear herself to her bosses she came up with a nifty prettier looking way to dump pt's elsewhere to save the U of C money, it's as simple as that.

As a man crippled with MS I've been in the Chicago area medical system now including U of C for 8 years and know how it works from top to bottom, with insurance and without, and I have no complaints whatsoever as far as availability terms, as for people who are investigative and resourceful there is always medical care available no matter what your situation both free and exorbitantly not, the no health care without health insurance mantra is a liberal myth and causes those without insurance to not seek care when they could receive it. I know as I've lived through it firsthand with no problems whatsoever on both sides of the fence, insured now and not at first.

Whoever here on the board said health care is a right not a privilege has been visiting too many dem/liberal blogs as it is not a right and never has been, nothing in the constitution or the bible that requires health care for anyone anywhere. Yet another liberal myth is the notion where somehow government paid health care is free? For the obviously misinformed, it so happens the governments money is our money, so nothing they provide to you or I is free, and certainly not the best available on the free market, so get the facts straight and join reality .
