Obama Misspeaks, Calls Biden 'The Next President'; Biden Calls Obama 'Barack America':
Political Radar: "ABC News' Sara Just reports: Journalists who were awake until the wee hours waiting for confirmation that Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., was indeed Barack Obama's running mate, cannot be blamed if their hearing is a little fuzzy today.
But after today's Obama-Biden speeches to a massive crowd in Springfield, Ill., many reporters are rolling back the tape and asking each other, 'Did he really say that?'
When introducing his running mate, Obama said, 'So let me introduce to you the next president - the next vice president of the US of America, Joe Biden.'
And then when it was Biden's turn to speak, the Delaware senator called the presumptive Democratic nominee 'Barack America' instead of Barack Obama.
Absent AWOL Senators Obama and Biden are both proof that a formal education means diddly when it comes to common sense and one's ability to actually be intelligent as neither are anything close to what they pretend to be, they are legendary alright...in their own minds that is..
So here we go on to the Democratic convention and three to four days of Bush bashing and ridiculous promises that will never be accomplished along with the con job that Democrats are just as full of faith and religion as conservatives, all except for the going to church, living morally and the killing babies part I guess...
We'll be seeing a lot of bullspit planned out fakery like this shot of the Messiah supposedly praying for all the world to see his faith, 2 seconds of photo conning....
Democrats open faith-filled convention with prayer
DENVER - At the first official event Sunday of the Democratic N ational Convention, a choir belted out a gospel song and was followed by a rabbi reciting a Torah reading about forgiveness and the future. Helen Prejean, the Catholic nun who wrote "Dead Man Walking," assailed the death penalty and the use of torture.\
Young Muslim women in headscarves sat near older African-American women in their finest Sunday hats. Four years ago, such a scene would have been unthinkable at a Democratic National Convention. In 2004, there was one interfaith lunch at the Democratic gala in Boston.
But that same year, "values voters" helped re-elect President Bush, giving Democrats of faith the opening they needed to make party leaders listen to them. The result was on display at Sunday's interfaith service, staged in a theater inside the Colorado Convention Center, and will be evident throughout the convention agenda and on the sidelines. continued
