Yet the truth is that he didn't say he backed Obama's BS and our media was more than happy to further the notion that he did for a couple of days , just as this non story gets buried slowly by the next wave of pro Obama news they have planned over the next week while Barack is in Europe running for president of the United States. What a Joke.
The real humorous aspect is that this non story was emailed out by a white house staffer supposedly, very possibly to make it's legions who ran with it look silly when Malarki (I know it's Maliki, Michael Savage calls him Malarki or Mularkey if you prefer and I like it) called it bogus which he quickly did.
However, no one besides CNN remarkably tells that story which is below my comments..
MAG: IRAQ LEADER SUPPORTS OBAMA PLAN
Even Drudge carries that bogus pro Obama headline above a full 24 hours after the Maliki press release denouncing the bogus report in the German mag that brutally misquoted his words late Friday, which makes clear who he's pulling for and tells me his usefulness is on the serious decline.

Nuri al-Maliki told Der Spiegel that he favors a 'limited' tenure for coalition troops in Iraq.
Nuri al-Maliki told Der Spiegel that he favors a 'limited' tenure for coalition troops in Iraq.
'U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama talks about 16 months,' he said in an interview with Der Spiegel that was released Saturday.
'That, we think, would be the right time frame for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes,' he said.
But a spokesman for al-Maliki said his remarks 'were misunderstood, mistranslated and not conveyed accurately.'
Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the possibility of troop withdrawal was based on the continuance of security improvements, echoing statements that the White House made Friday after a meeting between al-Maliki and U.S. President Bush.
In the magazine interview, Al-Maliki said his remarks did not indicate that he was endorsing Obama over presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain.
'Who they choose as their president is the Americans' business. But it's the business of Iraqis to say what they want. ......" continued
