It's Still OK For Them & Only Them

Surprising that Al Sharpton isn't out to wreck the career (as if he really works) of Jesse Jackson for collectively referring to all blacks as ni**ers as he has done with a multitude of Whites who have uttered this word and even some that haven't. Like Don Imus who instead was nearly executed for using the mostly harmless word ho JUST ONCE, that other disparaging term that only blacks can use to refer to black women as they do constantly and openly, many making a finer than fine living doing it.

These brutal double standards will never get the use of that word to stop, especially after the use of it on national morning television as Whoopie Goldberg did unnecessarily numerous times Thursday on the View, reducing co worker Elizabeth Hasselbeck to tears, which shi*head liberals promptly demeaned and ridiculed as opposed to commending her for her sympathy and caring for the offensive terminology used by Sister Sledge Whoopie.

Maybe next time she shouldn't bother wasting her time, and instead of teaching her children not to use the word, just make it a central part of their vocabulary when referring to blacks and just do it privately as Jesse Jackson and so many others do and everything is cool. In fact why not just use it all the time as blacks do and as Whoopie did.

If a white person said what she did they woudl be unemployable permanantly on Tv or in private business and industry as well.
That double standard is tiresome and bullshit.

Sharpton, Jackson, Others Respond to N-Word Revelation

- mediabistro.com: TVNewser: "he broadcast news divisions and cable news networks have been talking today about TVNewser's report that Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word while chatting with a guest before an appearance on Fox & Friends.

On The Early Show, CBS's Harry Smith, interviewing Rev. Al Sharpton, called the comment 'disheartening.' Sharpton agreed:

I think that we have to be consistent. We have denounced the N-word at the National Action Network and other groups. Those of us, and many of us, who have used it privately said we must refrain from it if we're going to challenge people using it publicly. You must be consistent and I think this is very disappointing.

Jackson responded with a statement last night:

I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologize again to Sen. Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public. There really is no justification for my comments and I hope that the Obama family and the American public will forgive me. I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people."
