And this is a surprise to who? Why would a country like China change the rules for two weeks that they implement day in and day out year after year after year just for the Olympics?
This choice for the games has been a ridiculous one from the start in the first place, and I won't spend one minute watching anything emanating from a communist country regardless of the content, period. Another PC decision made by the dolts of the IOC that's just as bad of a decision as it was to host the games in Nazi Germany in 1936
Maybe all the socialist lefties around the world slobbering all over Obama can watch and pay close attention to how things are in a country that truly has no freedoms and give a second thought to wishing for a government that runs and controls every little aspect of ones life like they so often dream and wax poetic about.

China to censor Internet during Games: official:
Breitbart "China will censor the Internet used by foreign media during the Olympics, an organising committee official confirmed Wednesday, reversing a pledge to offer complete media freedom at the games.
'During the Olympic Games we will provide sufficient access to the Internet for reporters,' said Sun Weide, spokesman for the organising committee.
He confirmed, however, that journalists would not be able to access information or websites connected to the Falungong spiritual movement which is banned in China.
Other sites were also unavailable to journalists, he said, without specifying which ones."
