A sad surprise to many Sunday night is the death of the once groundbreaking George Carlin, one of the first real dirty electronic media age American comedians aside from Lenny Bruce, who died in the early 1960's before him, who mostly made his name and career with shock value type dirty humor, breaking through with his trademark 7 dirty words you can't use on television.
I was a big fan of him early in my adult years in the eighties, but as I grew older and up his brand of comedy became less and less humorous to me, and during George Bush's administration his outright hatred and disrespect for the office of the president and Bush himself turned him into just another BDS infected angry liberal to me. One who (thanks to cable and the remote control) never found himself on my television screens and monitors ever again after 9-11 and the changes I made after that fateful day causing me to re evaluate my priorities.
He will be missed by many around the world certainly, but again, due to his pathetic over the top Bush hatred, I will not be one of them.

George Carlin Has Died:
ET Online..."A sad loss ...
ET breaks the news that comedian George Carlin has died from heart failure. The man who made famous the 'seven words you can never say on television' passed away at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, his longtime publicist said. He was 71.
Carlin, who has had several heart attacks and a history of cardiac issues, went into the hospital this afternoon after complaining of heart problems.
Carlin has more than 20 comedy albums, 14 HBO specials, numerous TV and movie roles, and three best-selling books to his credit. Last year, he celebrated his 50th year in show business, and he had just finished his last HBO special in March, 'It's Bad for Ya.'" continued here
He and his ilk in Hollywood and elsewhere will soon realize (obviously too late from him) that their well documented rampant ranting and raving for the past seven years will come back to haunt them greatly in their legacies and continued successes as celebrities. Especially as more and more presently misguided American people begin to grow up and realize that after 9-11, George Bush did a lot more for America and the world in terms of freedom and liberation of the oppressed (particularly for Muslims by the liberating of Afghanistan and Iraq and the termination of tens of thousands of radical terrorists as well)
Accomplishing more than anyone in world history in that regard, Bush was treated ridiculously unfair and with unprecedented disrespect by the lunatic left wingers like Carlin and the treasonous Mass Media during his administration, unforgivable behavior to me.
Meanwhile, as the angry 71 year old Carlin and his Woodstock era angry kind slowly disappear from earth through God's ultimate plan as he did Sunday night, the planet will ultimately find itself better off in the long run sad to say.
Regardless of my dislike for him in recent years, "Rest in peace" George.
