Kerry Visits Ailing Kennedy

Liberal lion Kennedy says outpouring ‘uplifting’

BostonHerald.com: "HYANNIS – Sen. John Kerry met with Sen. Edward M. Kennedy and his wife, Vicki, this morning at their Hyannisport home, where the senior senator has retreated in the wake of his brain cancer diagnosis.

Kerry was seen talking with the couple on the sprawling porch of their seaside home. Before Kerry left, Vicki stood up and hugged him, while the baseball-cap wearing Kennedy shook Kerry’s hand from his seat.

Kerry left at about 11:20 a.m. waving to the small crowd of reporters at a nearby beach as he left the compound in a minivan." continued
