I support the government fully when it comes to the wars being executed against fanatical Islamic terrorists around the world, but I'm sick and tired of picking up the papers and constantly reading about the disgraceful treatment of our veterans adn active service members as well in many instances.
be it the health care they often times don't receive that they fully deserve, psychological treatment for those who need it and or want it, crappy barracks conditions even here at home as recently reported in North Carolina, not to mention the treatment they receive from the leftist loons around the country like the Code Pink Skanks presently protesting the Marine recruitment center for many months now.
Now we see that our fallen service members have been cremated in the very same facilities used for damn animals? Granted they claim there was no intermingling of remains, the simple fact that animals would even deserve the same afterlife treatment as one of our most revered segments of society is an abomination
Absolutely unforgivable this transgression and I also take extreme exception to the headline above this story today in the AP if indeed the military is simply "considering" changes leaving those who scan headlines only with the impression that they would even contemplate not changing this if they could ...

Excuse me? CONSIDERING? How about immediately implementing sweeping changes preventing this situation from ever occurring again and some form of compensation for those families who's loved ones may have been subjected to this practice whether intended, known about or not. And I am by no means a fan of compensation as such in almost any type of transgressions as a salve to heal all wounds as our society has become addicted to.
Or is this just the AP's way of twisting the knife a little bit more in the backs of the Bush administration and military that we all know they truthfully could all give a fat rats a** about, unless the disparaging treatment or information obtained can somehow be used to simultaneously disgrace the Military establishment and Bush. Like the body armor issue perpetually beaten like a dead horse for over seven years now by the very same people who we see protesting outside Military recruiting centers.
I'm going for the latter as the body of the article dances around it but in fact indicates this practice will be eliminated forthwith.
As if they truly care that the very same soldiers they burn in effigy at their circus like demonstrations have appropriate supplies to enter into wars that they are abjectly against in every way. In all of my remaining life I will never forget nor hear such an equally and absolutely farcical statement like that left wing loon tagline of all times: the infamous "I support the troops but I'm against the war"!!! What a hoot.
"Military considering new cremation policies:"
My Way News - "WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon is recommending changes in the handling of troops' remains, after it was revealed that a crematorium contracted by the military handles both human and animal cremations.
A military official said there have been no instances or charges that human and pet remains were mixed. But officials are now recommending that troops' remains be incinerated only at facilities that are dedicated entirely to humans, in order to avoid any appearance of a problem. Or, officials said, families can opt to have a relative's remains sent to a local funeral home for cremation, which would be paid for by the military.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates believed the earlier situation was 'insensitive and entirely inappropriate for the dignified treatment of our fallen,' said Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell.
'Our heroes deserve to be better treated than that,' Morrell said, adding that a sign at one of the crematoriums noted that it also does pet cremations. He said Gates offered an apology to military families for the insensitivity." continued
