Media Disrespect For Our Military & It's Honored Vets Keeps Growing

Nothing is sacred to the left wing driven media today, and in spite of falling readerships, advertising dollars going elsewhere and Americans rejection of the obvious left wing slant in the press they continue to desecrate anything and everything that is important to this country and the people in it that helped make it what it is and what it will be tomorrow.

Yet surprisingly they wonder why their bottom lines have fallen through the floor into industry wide panic and amazement as to what could be wrong.

There's your answer in a nutshell, we are sick and tired of our country and military being slapped around like a bad stepchild as they used to say before that became a sin under the new laws of PC.

So the latest desecration is the use of the hallowed Iwo Jima statue photoshopped into a left wing global warning alarmist statement on the cover of this weeks so called "green"edition of Time magazine. To them it probably didn't even occur that this would be met with protest as they simply do not regard the military and our vets as people of honor unless they are using them as props for political gain as they have for the past 7 years during the War against Islamic Terror in Afghanistan and now Iraq.

It's a real POS and it's causing quite an uproar in the flyover part of America the media and liberals hate so much, the conservative, religious angry gun toting folks like myself who are sick and tired of watching our country and everything it stood for being tossed out the window by this Woodstock generation of elderly hippies that finally get to shove their rejected radical Anti American agenda down our throats for the very last time as their kind slowly becomes extinct thanks to nature & father time.

Iwo Jima Veterans Blast Time's 'Special Environmental Issue' Cover:

Business & Media Institute "For only the second time in 85 years, Time magazine abandoned the traditional red border it uses on its cover. The occasion – to push more global warming alarmism.

The cover of the April 21 issue of Time took the famous Iwo Jima photograph by Joe Rosenthal of the Marines raising the American flag and replaced the flag with a tree. The cover story by Bryan Walsh calls green “the new red, white and blue.”

Donald Mates, an Iwo Jima veteran, told the Business & Media Institute on April 17 that using that photograph for that cause was a “disgrace.”

“It’s an absolute disgrace,” Mates said. “Whoever did it is going to hell. That’s a mortal sin. God forbid he runs into a Marine that was an Iwo Jima survivor.”

Mates also said making the comparison of World War II to global warming was erroneous and disrespectful.

“The second world war we knew was there,” Mates said. “There’s a big discussion. Some say there is global warming, some say there isn’t. And to stick a tree in place of a flag on the Iwo Jima picture is just sacrilegious.”

According to the American Veterans Center (AVC), Mates served in the 3rd Marine Division and fought in the battle of Iwo Jima, landing on Feb. 24, 1945. continued
