Considering the magnitude of death here this is getting scant coverage at least until now. More attention was paid by the Bush failure obsessed US MSM to New Orleans and Katrina than this devastating tragedy thus far showing their lack of prioritizing the news they present to America and the world.
Particularly now that they say the toll may climb to 10,000 dead when all is said and done. This is an absolutely brutal display of the power and unpredictability of Mother Nature, and tomorrow they'll be claiming this must be global warming causing these terrorizing cyclones.

Bangladesh toll rises to 2,300 -Gee, ya mean FEMA isn't the only organization around the world that cannot predict when disasters will strike and react quick enough? Granted this is a third world government and one would expect America to be on top of things more than Bangladesh, it shows that sometimes these terrible and tragic things just happen unfortunately, and man can only do his best to react as quickly and thoroughly as possible to them.
South and Central Asia- msnbc.com: "BARGUNA, Bangladesh - The death toll from Bangladesh’s most devastating storm in a decade climbed to at least 2,300 on Sunday and relief officials warned the figure could jump sharply as rescuers reach more isolated areas.
Teams from international aid organizations worked with army troops in a massive rescue effort that drew help from around the world. Rescue workers cleared roads of fallen trees and twisted roofs to reach remote villages, but tents, rice, water and other relief items were slow to arrive. Hungry survivors, thousands of whom were left homeless, scrambled for food. "
The death toll rose as officials made contact with coastal regions cut off by the storm, said Selina Shahid of the Ministry of Food and Disaster Management. " continued
