What Tancredo is saying is what the other candidates won't say because they fear Gallup poles and special interest groups more than terrorism and crime being caused by the millions of ILLEGAL immigrants pouring across the borders. You and I are the ones in the trenches with the crime problem being exacerbated by illegals with no fear of being caught because they don't exist as far as the government roles go, especially not the politico's who live in gated communities with the rich and famous and are secure from the everyday riff raff walking around every city in America like yours and mine.
For instance my own beloved mother is today sitting in a local hospital in a coma due to gall bladder failure this week who went through the first respondent process and I spent 10 hours in an emergency room on her inception into the hospital having been the one dialing 911 from another location, then directing the paramedics to a hidden key to enter her apartment site unseen and then communicating through a cell phone until being reunited with her in the ER 30 minutes later. Using English in order to do so by the way.....
.and as a part time 911 operator myself I can attest that many in that situation do not speak English and valuable time is lost having to provide Spanish speaking operators and emergency personnel on scene to facilitate those who no comprende who then have ningĂșn seguro (no insurance)
While there all day I did an informal evaluation of the scene there and you can bet that where I to print what I saw and the information gathered while there I would be called a racist and an alarmist, suffice it to say that the illegal component was a drain on the very hospital I was visiting in Elk Grove Township Illinois that day and every day by visual observance as well as eavesdropping 10 feet away on a desk where the people being admitted are being queried about their financial and medical insurability, and nearly every person in 5 hours time there had NO HEALTH INSURANCE and were representative of the African American, Caucasian and Latin communities, all three with the preponderance being predominantly Latin.
So that very issue I lived through personally this week.
Tancredo may be a bit alarmist linking terrorism to illegals, yet illegals are extremely vulnerable to extortion from terrorist organizations for recruitment by virtue of fear of being turned in, this is a fact that many simply aren't informed enough to even know exists. And as I related in the previous paragraph, they also are a drain on every city in America taking vital funds away from programs intend for real Americans like you an I and first responder resources to protect us when terrorism does strike which we can never predict accurately when it will.
Here is The ad in question:
I like how they complain in a sense that this ad asks for contributions when the Democrats link very issues directly to contributions in emails sent in the millions around the internet every time a republican makes any type of misstep whatsoever.Tancredo Ad Invokes Terror, Immigrants
The Associated Press: : "WASHINGTON (AP) — A man in a hooded sweat shirt, a backpack, a crowded mall. The television screen goes dark at the sound of an explosion. Tom Tancredo, the Republican presidential candidate running on an anti-immigration message, is airing this scene in a television ad in Iowa that casts border security as a defense against terrorism. The ad displays clips of the aftermath of terrorist acts in Europe, including a picture of a bloodied child. 'There are consequences to open borders beyond the 20 million aliens who have come to take our jobs,' a narrator says. 'Islamic terrorists now freely roam U.S. soil, jihadists who froth with hate, here to do as they have in London, Spain, Russia. The price we pay for spineless politicians who refuse to defend our borders against those who come to kill.'"Tancredo, a Colorado congressman who has long advocated tight limits on immigration, barely registers in public opinion polls. But the immigration issue does resonate. Sen. John McCain, who helped lead an effort to overhaul immigration laws and provide a path to citizenship for some immigrants, lost momentum last spring as the debate over the legislation played out in Congress.
The powerful image of a hooded terrorist plays to viewers' post-9/11 fears. It is reminiscent of Lyndon Johnson's "Daisy" ad in 1964 against Barry Goldwater, which suggested a Goldwater presidency could result in nuclear war.
"I approve this message because someone needs to say it," Tancredo says at the beginning of the ad.
His Web site opens to the ad with a direct appeal for contributions: "Please help us keep this important statement on the air: Donate now".
Double standards at play again with The MSM.
