The Liberal Secular Progressive View Of Thanksgiving In America

Instead of viewing Thanksgiving as a celebration of American prosperity and giving thanks as I and many other fine Americans will do today and demonstrated in my other post today lauding this holiday of thanksgiving, related below is what a liberal Seattle school district wants the young people of America to learn about this great country on this day.

A country that now feeds about 3/4 of the world's population by the way, and what a better day to celebrate that fact and bounty around the world than this day of celebration. The celebration of that great prosperity shared by Americans in many different ways all throughout the mostly ungrateful American left and a backwards under performing world.

Seattle Schools' Thanksgiving 'Myths' Stir Controversy

FOXNews.com - - "Seattle public schools want a side of political correctness served on your Thanksgiving table. Washington state's largest school district sent letters to teachers and other employees suggesting Thanksgiving should be 'a time of mourning' for its Native American students. The memo, from Caprice Hollins, the district's director of Equity, Race & Learning Support, included an attachment to a paper titled 'Deconstructing the Myths of 'The First Thanksgiving.''

It includes 11 'myths' disputing everything from what was served at the first Thanksgiving (no mashed potatoes or cranberries) and who provided the food to the nature of the Pilgrims themselves: Myth No. 3 calls the colonists 'rigid fundamentalists' who came to the New World 'fully intending to take the land away from its native inhabitants.' What a bunch of whiny ungrateful bitches these people can be, people that simply cannot stand that America, in spite of it's obvious as well as regrettable shortcomings, still far outperforms the entire world over with charitable contributions and activities, far far more than any other country and it's combined peoples around the entire world.

Most of that excessive billions of dollars of charity a year by the way coming from despised by the left US Christians, Jews and their related organizations, not the selfish self centered full of sh** secular progressives, that's for damn sure.

And it's also a well publicized fact that red states contribute far more philanthropy than do the blue states throughout the country.
