What BULLSH**ters.
This change of heart & plans just about tosses the final tier of their entire campaign plank into the firewood pile, as every single thing they promised America and their sucker filled constituency they have shi*canned in less than a year, every single thing!
The only accomplishment this gang of left wing losers has managed to do in an entire year is pass an increase in the minimum wage, that's it. No out of Iraq, no ending of the war, no impeachment of George Bush, NOTHING, not a damn thing.
I hope those misinformed Americans that voted this dipwads into office for a change have learned a lesson, that in wartime you cannot trust a Democrat to even end the war when they promise to, so what good are they for anything else besides raising taxes and insulting US Generals and our few Allies. Heck, George Bush was doing a fine job of that all by himself before the DimDem congress came along
I bet the Times really cried over having to report this piece of news yesterday about their party, but give 'em credit for doing it. However, true to form they did it on a Sunday, when the world hardly notices anything going on in Washington to at least limit the outcry to obscure blogs and right wing publications for the most part..
Well I noticed this little piece of news on Drudge as many others did as well.
Democrats Plan a Shorter Workweek -
New York Times: "WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 — Shortly after winning a majority last year, Democrats triumphantly declared that they would put Congress back to work, promising an “end to the two-day workweek.” And indeed, the House has clocked more time in Washington this year than in any other session since 1995, when Republicans, newly in control, sought to make a similar point. But 10 months into the session, with their legislative agenda often in gridlock with the Bush administration and a big election year looming, the Democrats are now planning a lighter schedule when the 110th Congress begins its second year in mid-January.
The House majority leader, Representative Steny H. Hoyer of Maryland, told fellow Democrats this week that the House would not be in session next year on Fridays, except in June for work on appropriations bills." continued
So at least they'll come in on Friday's to divie up that pork barrel cashola, that after all is important stuff.
