As if he ever had a chance to begin with, Bill Richardson spouts the political correct line throwing the Boy Scouts under the bus for the votes of gays, (whom the Scouts both present and former of which I was definitively outnumber in this country when the real truth is told (In 2007, Scouting and Guiding together have over 38 million members in 216 countries), during Wednesday's debate where every single candidate said something or many things incredibly stupid. Nothing earth shattering there except this remarkable slight.
All except the one considered furthest back in the pack Mike Gravel, who nailed Hillary and Barack on their votes for this Iran Revolutionary guard Terrorist bill that the far left is calling the Bush war document for Iran. That was pretty amusing radio fodder all day yesterday.
Meanwhile, if I were they, the Boy Scouts, I would tell the "Honorary Chairman" to take a hike and take his gay friends and child molesters with him when he goes, while asking that this action be taken today. Why wait for tomorrow or for his convenience or his schedule?
Find someone this time who will appreciate the job or title in about 5 minutes, and not use it just for filler on his Congressional Stationary...

CNN Political Ticker Richardson to Boy Scouts: Be Prepared . . . to find another Honorary Chairman
CNN.com - : "WASHINGTON (CNN) – New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said if elected president he would decline the position of Honorary Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America because of that organization’s policy barring participation by openly gay males, he said at a Democratic presidential debate Wednesday night.
When asked if he would accept the position, Richardson said, “No, I wouldn’t, because I think as president I would commit myself, number one, that I will be a leader that prevents discrimination on the basis of race, gender and sexual orientation.” Last month, Richardson angered gay rights supporters by saying at a presidential forum that he believed being gay was a 'choice,' but he later clarified that he misspoke." continued
He misspoke alright, by reiterating that he misspoke the first time. What a panderer. Then again in that party they say and do anything to get elected, which the next election will prove, and already has provided a treasure trove of flipability with much more to come when Slick Shrillary gets the nomination.
That's when you'll see position flips like the summer olympics.
