Below you will see a sad story about a Christian festival in which a bungee jumper was killed over the weekend.
As I was reading the story and contemplating blogging about it I discovered something strange about the URL of the page of the storyand I do not wish to detract from the victims by bringing attention to this but I think it is a subtle slam on the peoepl themselves neatly hidden in the web address.
See if you agree that this name at the end of the url is strangely coincidentally named, or if someone there at CNN thinks that these or all Christians just might be savages:
www.cnn.com/2007/US/07/15/
bungee.death.ap/index.html?savages
Yes that is what it is, the web address ends with the word "savages". The story below my commentary is how the page appeared and here is a screenshot in case they decide to change the page URL. at a later time.
You'll notice there is nothing in the story that would indicate or call for the use of such a word within the address even if the name is automatically assigned to it as are the adrdesses in blogger or wordpress using the title of the story, no witnesses named Savage, no victim, no cop, author, photographer, no city or anything else.
Me thinks someone at CNN simply dislikes Christians and this is their subtle way of saying so, that is my educated guess and that's not too hard to believe now is it?. So what do you think? Please let me know.
Again, here is the full story and picture just as it appeared, where you will not find the word Savage used anywhere in the story, at least at the time of the publishing here below and also captured here:
In memory of the victims here's video of some of the friends & patrons after the tragic accident occurred at the scene over the weekend from CNN..and the story itself explaining the tragedy.

Christian music festival marred by death on ride
CNN.com: "OSHKOSH, Wisconsin (AP) -- Police and federal investigators tried Sunday to determine why a teen fell from a festival ride and died.
Lifefest attendees gather near the site of the woman's death to write messages and leave condolences.
Elizabeth K. Mohl, 16, of Neenah, was killed Saturday after falling 40 to 50 feet from a ride called Air Glory.
Winnebago County Deputy Coroner Chuck Hable said Sunday that a crane hoists a person or people in a sling, and that at the top someone inside pulls a ripcord. That drops the person or people, and they swing back and forth."
Witness Brian Childers of Kenosha, Wisconsin, said that two people went up in the ride, and that when the release was pulled he heard a snapping sound. One person fell, and the other remained swinging, he told the Oshkosh Northwestern. Mohl died in surgery several hours after she fell, Hable said.Police Sgt. Jim Jewell said Sunday that the department and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration were investigating.
He wouldn't comment further and said it was too early to say whether the matter would be considered criminal. The girl was attending Lifest, a Christian music festival that features rides and sports. Workers shut down the ride after the afternoon accident. A prayer service was held before the festival resumed about 7:30 p.m.Air Glory makes "grown men scream like little girls," according to the Lifest Web site, which says the ride begins by launching two to three people almost 100 feet in the air.
Coincidence or simple dislike for Christians? I have to say dislike by maybe one individual or department there, as this source (CNN), has been known to do things this before with picture file names and superimposing epithets over video's of George Bush so why not story filenames? As I said I name my files after what the story or picture contains, or sometimes with personalized additions to recollect them later.
For instance, naming a jpg of John Kerry and his wife hermanlilly.jpg. Or a BDS sufferer might name a jpg used in the story of George Bush alfrednuemannidiot.jpg. Or a left wing Christian disliker or even hater looking at people gathered on the spot mourning a bungee jumper sadly killed at a Christian music festival and they add the word savage in the filename as I am claiming here.

I myself have used "savage" attached to pics of radical Islamists beheading Americans and pictures of Palestinian terrorists jumping up and down on burning cars etc, but never groups like Christians, Jews, or Islamists in general, just individual radicals that are savages. Then again I'm not CNN.
I guess we'll see what everyone else thinks, whether I'm paranoid or crazy as this may indeed be much adieu about nothing by myself and can innocently be explained which I hope it is. Again it seems quite strange to me, and I just don't think it's any coincidence or explainable without attaching some made up on the fly story like "It's the name of the person who filed the story"..
