Where's Sean Penn And Hollywood When We Need 'Em? NOT

I of coarse am alluding to Katrina and Sean Penn's "Spicoli to the rescue"comedy routine that we all remember too well I'm sure. If not click here to refresh your memory.

In all seriousness, the tornadoes that ripped through Kansas this weekend were simply phenomenal in the demonstration of what fury mother nature is capable of in just a heartbeat. I am puzzled however by the MSM media and the somewhat ho-hum just another midwestern town decimated by tornadoes, lets cover 'em for a couple of days and get back to the Bush hating attitude today.

This brings me to my next point, and some things we won't be seeing from Hollywood, liberals and the usual do gooders in the wake of this tragedy. Does anyone think that our left coast friends will be rushing in their lear jets and limousine convoys to feed and clothe the poor folks who's lives have been uprooted and ruined most certainly by these tornadoes?

Will the citizens of these towns be standing in lines waiting for the government and the rest of America to fix every one of their problems by next week with their hands out complaining that George Bush isn't acting quick enough? Any media whores like Shep Smith, Brian Williams, Wolf Blitzer or Geraldo complaining about the response from FEMA and the rest of the government?

If your reading this blog you know what I mean by all this I'm sure and it'll be a cold day in hell before any of the above occurs and we know it. This is because this town and area is filled with mostly white people and they for some odd reason don't deserve and will not get the same "woe is we" response that we saw for the forlorn and supposedly helpless citizens of Katrina. Those by the way who were warned 5 days in advance to evacuate their town prior to the hurricane and it's aftermath, whereas these folks had about 5 minutes to gather their thoughts and hide from hell's fury.

All I can say is may God bless these poor people in their time of need and I'm sure the rest of us minus the Hollywood and liberal do-gooder crowd will help this city and area rise again very soon, as they deserve our prayers and help just as much as the people of New Orleans do or ever did.

And please Sean Penn pack your row boat, bags and shotgun as they need you now!

Second wave of tornadoes rakes Plains - CNN.com:

(CNN) -- Tornadoes tore across the nation's midsection for a second night Saturday, 24 hours after a storm leveled Greensburg, Kansas.

A tornado struck Sweetwater, Oklahoma, about 8:15 p.m. Saturday, causing major damage to a high school and other buildings.

'The tornado came through and just dead-center punched Sweetwater,' Roger Mills County Sheriff Joe Hay told KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City. He said there was extensive damage but just one minor injury in the tiny town.

The storm continued to grind north through northwestern Oklahoma toward Kansas for more than 45 minutes." read & see more
