Although I am a die hard sports fan, after all I live in Chicago and here it's hard not to be, this blog is not a sports blog and I usually leave the sports off the page and focus on the crazy world events that are driving our country mad now more than ever.
But, when anybody has been doing anything as good and as long as legend Frank Robinson has one must stand up and pay respect, as he has been in baseball 10 years longer than I have been alive. Although he wasn't on the most winningest teams as either a player, coach or manager, he undoubtedly still went out a winner this past weekend saying goodbye to baseball and it's millions of fans with one last....loss. :-(

Robinson said farewell to life in the major leagues, the only life he has known for 51 years, with something he experienced far too often during his managerial career: a loss.
