In my sidebar you will see a button that is a link to "Blogs for Heather" run by our friend Chris at Luckydawg news on behalf of congresswoman Heather Wilson, incumbent New Mexico Republican. I support their effort because I feel this race along with quite a few others are very important for the simple fact that whomever wins these races will have far reaching implications in regards to the balance of power in the house staying under Republican control for the remainder of Bush's term.
As if that wasn't enough reason she is also under attack from Nancy Pelosi and her leftwing lunatic crowd on behalf of a much lesser candidate, that being Democrat Patricia Madrid. Anytime Nancy Pelosi is on the side of anything or anybody you know one thing for sure, it's gotta be bad for the country as a whole and good for America's enemies.
Should you wish to join us in this effort and/or stay up to date on the latest news coming from this race you can click here and the folks @ Luckydawg News will be more than happy to provide any answers to questions you might have
In the meantime here is the latest from Mario Burgos, fellow Blogs for Heather contributor on Heather's opponent Patricia Madrid and her involvement in scandal related to the New Mexico's AG office, which she presently heads.
Yesterday, former Governor Gary Johnson released the following statement:As Mario says:
It is an irrefutable fact that representatives from Patricia Madrid’s office were involved in multiple meetings where clear questions about impropriety in the State Treasurer’s office were raised.
My administration uncovered problems in the Treasurer’s office with three months to go in my term. Jan Goodwin and Harold Field first realized that things didn’t add up in the Treasurer’s office. They informed me of these problems. There were three meetings of the State Board of Finance, which I personally attended, where we discussed our concerns and the need for further investigation. The Attorney General’s office is represented at each and every meeting of the State Board of Finance. read more
I guess that settles that.
