Why Rueters needs to fake pictures of the war when they can find all the violence and death images they need at the arrival points of these 3000 plus missles being fired at Israel, is beyond me.
Oh yes, I forget. That doesn't fit their left wing Anti-American/Israeli agenda, that's why.
So it seems the old once hobby now could turn to a new job description at Rueters and elsewhere for photoshop experts like myself, those with just a keen eye or both is "News Division PhotoDoctor".
Or we can sift through all the photo's being passed of as real by the anti-war & terrorist sympathizing employees over at the organization that LGF's Charles Johnson lovingly refers to as Al-Rueters, checking them for authenticity. How prophetic he has been in his description of them in light of yesterday's news.
I myself even began to question their photogs' journalistic integrity when I spotted this photo last week coming out of Lebanon after a bombing raid. You'll see the questionable areas I've pointed to and descibed, in what appears to be the subliminal formation of smoke strangely resembling images of Bush and Cheney:
Ha Ha. Here on this blog and as you see above, I doctor photos regularly for fun and always identify them as such with a "chicagoray" stamp so as not to put tampered photo's out on the internet that could even be construed as real. But little did I know I could have had a paying job at Rueters all this time doing this!
In all seriousness, this has been going on at the so-called news providers I'm sure since the advent of Photoshop and as it has become more widely available to anyone with a computer and a few hundred bucks, which also means the non computer-savvy public has been subjected to this bull*&it for quite some time unbeknownst to them.
Now that this fakery has been brought to light you can rest assured we will be seeing a flood of these discoveries being aired openly as one can see from this blog entry at the Jawa report Sunday:
The Jawa Report: Another Fake Reuters Photo from Lebanon: "Another photo by Reuters photographer Adnan Hajj has been shown to be doctored. The photo, which proports to be of an Israeli F-16 firing missiles on Lebanon has been doctored to make the photo seem more sensational.
Here is the original Reuters photo along with its caption. (source)"
An Israeli F-16 warplane fires missiles during an air strike on Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon, August 2, 2006. (LEBANON 02 Aug 2006 REUTERS/Adnan HajjThe F-16 in the photo is not firing missiles, but is rather dropping chaffe or flares designed to be a decoy for surface to air missiles. However, a close up of what Hajj calls "missiles" reveals that only one flare has been dropped. The other two "flares" are simply copies of the original. read & see the rest
