Soldier 'coping well' despite slayings

It's good to hear that this brave soldier, Sgt. Leonid Milkin, featured in the story excerpt below is managing to move forward in spite of the fact that while serving our country in Iraq his family was brutally murdered in Seattle Wa. this past week by his neighbor of all people.

As if that wasn't tough enough, Sgt. Leonid Milkin incurred the unneeded and unnecessary wrath of the lunatic left slime upon his return to this devastating news in a story that was publicized at length by Michelle Malkin and Human Events that I also pointed to in an earlier post the other day, The America Haters Sink Lower & Lower.

Many prayers go out to this soldier and here's hoping that he can somehow return to a normal life after such a tragedy befalling him and may all the looney libs that disrespected him in such a callous manner rot in hell sooner than later.

This picture is not the soldier, but an unknown mourner

: "KIRKLAND -- National Guard Sgt. Leonid Milkin, who was serving halfway around the world when he learned that his family had perished, returned to his charred home Friday and gave his first public comments.

'My family will always be alive to me,' he said, and that 'is how I'm going to remember them.'

Milkin's wife, Olga Milkin, 28; her sister, Lyubov Botvina, 24; and the Milkins' two sons, Justin, 5, and Andrew, 3, were slain Monday, and their house was set afire.

Though he was 'coping extremely well,' Milkin said, 'I still can't believe something like this happened to my family.'

He was serving in Iraq when he learned that his family had died. Then came the added shock that they were stabbed to death.

Milkin, calm and soft-spoken, said he was encouraged by the way Kirkland police are handling the investigation, describing them as 'most helpful and extremely professional. I have confidence in them.'

A neighbor, 24-year-old Conner Schierman, is accused of killing the four victims. Schierman remains in jail with bail set at $4 million bail and is expected to be charged Monday with four counts of aggravated first-degree murder." read more
