What exactly seems to be the problem here? All of a sudden liberals have become concerned about ethics and a little bitch slapping with a knife? When did that start?


 

Clout St: Ex-girlfriend: Cohen not fit to hold public office: "The ex-girlfriend of embattled Democratic lieutenant governor nominee Scott Lee Cohen put out a statement through her lawyer this evening saying Cohen is not fit to hold public office.

Amanda Eneman, 29, issued the statement through Gloria Allred, a high-profile California attorney. Cohen, a pawnbroker, was accused of holding a knife to the throat of his then-girlfriend Eneman, a convicted prostitute, in October 2005. Charges were dismissed after Eneman failed to show up in court.

Allred said Eneman lived with Cohen for “about a year some four or five years ago.”" more

Can't be any worse than the past 2 Illinois governors now could he?

As far that goes and as I can see, Mr Cohen here meets and exceeds all the criteria as a far left liberal democrat. What's a "little knife to the throat" now and then, right? Heck everyone in Hollywood does it so why shouldn't the politicians? They think they're all royalty and celebrities so why shouldn't they act like them?

You couldn't dream up a more dysfunctional group of Americans than this dem led body in DC called congress, robbing us all dry, using the children as an excuse to pillage the financial landscape for the next century by moving their whacked nanny and papa state agenda.

I don't know about you all out there, but I'm damn tired of hearing Pelosi and Reid parroting  that "the American  people" this, "the American people" that, as it's all bull. We all know the majority has been telling them for over a year now that we don't want nor need any more liberal handouts in this great country.

And yet they still hear none of the dissent from we "piddly teabagger conservative Serfs." as they refer to non lunatic liberals.  Instead, they use their favorite homosexual phraseology and vernacular to demean us all, calling anyone who disagrees with their scorched America policies as racist teabaggers, and that's just for starters from these foul people.

These dems only listen to "we the people' when we're cowering in the corner like good little peasant constituents and their "anything goes anywhere anytime if it feels good" supporters.

In all seriousness though,  he's a businessman now who's entitled to run for office, and is less criminal on the face than anyone in congress for the most part at this moment in American history. He's a perfect candidate,

I'd vote for him if I were liberal, sure I would.   ;>) They should too!

In fact, he could be even better suited for the job than they think if he turns out to be a tax cheat too ,like the President's cabinet choices and countless others we haven't discovered yet.!

In fact he's more qualified as a self made businessman than Obama is to run the damn country.

Again, I don't know about you folks but nothing to me cries out "compassionate citizen of the year" than liberal democrat pawnbroker, ya know?  I'm sure he can feel our pain too! lol

Francis Cardinal George asked to ban Senator Dick Durbin from communion in Chicago

First Patrick Kennedy was denied communion recently in Rhode Island at his own church, and now Cardinal George here in Chicago is being asked by a man running for senate here named Andy Martin, (whom we would like to see send uber liberal, IL Senator "Dick" Durbin, packing next November ) to do the same to  the incumbent and every other hypocritical politician on either aisle using religion as a commodity while ignoring it's most basic tenets every day and night making a mockery of true believers.

 

So he sent the letter below which is being reprinted all over the net demanding the Cardinal pull the communion wafers from ol' Dick the next time he shows up at church looking for the sacrament while openly writing and passing legislation that allows the murder of the unborn.

Dear Cardinal George:

I am a member of the Episcopal Church. Some years ago I studied for Holy Orders in my church, but I ultimately elected not to enter the ordained ministry. I though my secular work fighting corruption and working for the improvement of this state and the United States was an honorable calling.

But I take my lay ministry very seriously. While I am unhesitating in seeking to be a servant of the people, I am always first and utmost a servant of Jesus Christ. The energy and grace which Jesus imparts to His believers allows me to continue the war against corruption in Illinois and Washington.

Two months ago the Holy Father invited Episcopalians (Anglicans) such as me to rejoin the Roman Catholic Church. I was startled by the boldness of Pope Benedict’s invitation. And I have studied his words carefully.

In the Note of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Father, the first paragraph challenges all of us “who wish to enter into full visible communion The Note confirms that the holy sacrament of communion is a visible manifestation, perhaps the most visible manifestation, of our call to follow Christ.

But before I can accept the Holy Father’s invitation to join the church, and before I can even make an informed and intelligent decision on how to decide, I need to ask you a clear question.

If Holy Communion is such a “visible” and universal sacrament of the Church, how can you allow apostates such as Senator Richard Durbin to receive communion when Durbin mocks the church’s teachings on abortion and the right to life, both for the unborn and those facing the end of life? How indeed?

Recently Bishop Thomas Tobin of Rhode Island became engulfed in a controversy involving the bishop’s private communication to Patrick Kennedy to refrain from accepting the sacrament because of Kennedy’s pro-abortion views.

Earlier this week, Senator Durbin was on national television

gloating over his success in defeating an anti-abortion provision for the so-called health care reform proposed by the president. In other words, Durbin not only acts contrary to church teaching, he visibly and openly defies church doctrine and gloats over his success in mocking and denying the teachings of his church. Durbin is no ordinary sinner.

So when is the Archdiocese of Chicago going to follow the Diocese of Rhode Island and request that Senator Durbin refrain from receiving the sacrament in this archdiocese?

If you allow Durbin to defy and mock church teaching, and to glory over his victories in defeating the most precious right to life, you allow a sinner to elevate himself over the church and over the authority of the Holy Father.

I ask you to consider requesting that Senator Durbin refrain from receiving the sacrament of communion. I most respectfully ask you to explain to me how any church leader can tolerate the defiance of mockery for church teaching manifested by Senator Durbin.

As a former U. S. Senator said on February 17, 2008, “Words? Just words? Don’t tell me words don’t matter

Well, do they matter? Do the teachings of the church matter?

Are your teachings as Archbishop “just words Or do your words regarding the sanctity of life have real meaning? Does The Death Penalty Work? Illinois Murderer Brian Dugan To Die For 80's Murder of Jeanine Nacarico

  Tears of joy as Brian Dugan gets death penalty -- chicagotribune.com: "Moments after a clerk announced that jurors Wednesday had condemned Brian Dugan to death for the rape and murder of Jeanine Nicarico, more than a quarter century of weddings interrupted by cemetery visits, of missed graduations, of guilt and anguish, cascaded on the Nicarico family.

Through their tears, they found enough composure to display a gesture of wordless gratitude. They leaned forward and hugged Opal Horton, who escaped Dugan the day he raped and killed her best friend. Then they turned and embraced another Dugan survivor, Sharon Grajek.

'Having met them and gotten to know them has really been a very special thing for us, and something we will never forget,' she said. 'We have a bond, and it's not the best kind of a bond to have, but it's a very special bond.'continue

 This case has been going on since I was in high school 25 years ago in 1983, as a local  little girl named Jeanine Nacarico was brutally murdered taken from her own home ....Here she is above pictured right before she was murdered by lifetime criminal and scum of the earth Brian Dugan who finally confessed in June 2009,  although sadly at the time he wrong people were convicted of the crime,  and later subsequently exonerated by the work of a group of Northwestern students which itself is now under investigation.....  

His name was Rolando Cruz, and the people who framed him are now in prison as well other Illinois officials wrapped in this case both good and bad. (the link covers all that)

A chain of events which later led to a criminal himself, (republican governor who's now doing time, the one and only bum known as George Ryan) placing a  BS moratorium on death penalty cases, all in order to burnish his crumbling image for the most part back when his career was falling apart at the freaking seams from decades of graft and corruption only matched by his replacement, another one and only, Hot Rod Blago jevich who is himself awaiting trial on a whole host of politically related shenanigans and outright fraud....

So now decades later the man responsible, who was known to law enforcement at the time,  a real sack of human shit named Brian Dugan, (already serving life for 2 other murders for  27 yr old Donna Schorr and 7 yr old Melissa Ackerman) admitted to the crimes long after watching the innocent men be prosecuted and sent to death row wrongly. 

And for that sin and  transgression alone he should be executed in this outraged Illinoisan's opinion..

This clump of crud has now murdered at least three people we know of,  cost the state tens  and tens of millions of dollars over the years while jerking law enforcement and the court system around... and it's way past high time to put him to rest forever and ever ..NOW..not twenty years from now but in this decade

I'll even volunteer to pull the trigger if they need anyone for the job, in fact an even better idea might be since the state is running low on money, why not just cut him loose in the inner city with a big  Scarlet Letter tattoo on his forehead that says "Baby Rapist & Killer" and he won't make it alive out of the city...problem solved.

This would do the trick, cut him loose with these tat's  and  he'd be dead or starve to death in a week.

Abortion law: Court blocks Illinois' parental notification law just enacted this week!

I wrote with glee the other day about this notification law taking effect finally this week and this morning news comes that the anti American organization known as the ACLU steps up to the plate and is awarded a temporary restraining order by no doubt some sympathetic liberal Crook County judge ready to legislate this one from the bench to circumvent the voters.

Sick of those judges are we enough after seeing all the social damage a few of these rogue liberal dem judges can do and in this case we have one who thinks he's GOD I guess, deciding children of mostly liberals should be able to murder their own fetuses just like the mostly liberal adults do at their leisure. 55 million worth to date and now rising again in Illinois at least temporarily..

Unbelievably this law has been on the books since 1995 and not enforced apparently since they just had to get a restraining order to stop its newfound enforcement if I'm correct on this.

Judge Daniel Riley granted a temporary restraining order sought by the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois in the late afternoon, hours after Illinois' medical disciplinary board decided the state could begin enforcing the law. It requires physicians to notify parents or guardians when those 17 or younger seek abortions.

The restraining order was based on an October lawsuit filed by a Chicago physician and a Granite City women's medical clinic who believe the 1995 law is unconstitutional and would harm minors by preventing them from obtaining safe abortions or force them to carry their pregnancies to term.

'We are delighted,' said Lorie Chaiten, an attorney and director of reproductive rights for the ACLU of Illinois. 'Young women in this state would be abused, kicked out of their homes' when their parents learn of their planned abortion.

Abortion opponents vowed to fight on. 'I expected it,' said Joseph Scheidler, national director of the Chicago-based Pro-Life Action League, referring to the restraining order. 'It's just more time. What's another week or two?'

Illinois IDOT Hopes New Signs Pay Off (So State Can Waste More Of Our Money?)

Hey, first of all they gotta pay these legal bills for the last two governors, one in prison and another one certainly on the way. They surely cannot pay all those bills with the state income tax and the millions made on the tens of thousands of DUIs they pass out in this state at about 1-$10,000 a pop, right? What about all the lottery money they make hand over fist that they spend on some of the crappiest schools in the land?

That is when the money actually makes it into that imaginary pot of supposed untouchable funds.

So what's happening to those hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars? Don't ask, don't tell because we sure don't know what the hell, and they probably do not either.

And let's not forget paying the salaries of elected officials who abuse their government salaries and stipends to run for the next higher elected office for one sometimes two years, especially those long and very expensive presidential elections you know?

Gotta pay for those victory parties that the president elect promised to atone for that cost the metropolis of Chicago about 1.3 million tax payer dollars, right?

And finally don't forget the millions and millions of illegals we support in this region thanks chiefly to the city of Chicago declaring itself a sanctuary city to the detriment of the rest of the state thank you.

So they have to make certain they collect every little dime down to the penny from using the roads, which are about the crappiest roadways you can find in the country besides the old Oregon Trail by the way, in case you have never traveled these parts. If you haven't trashed the suspension, rims and tires on a 30, 40 0r $50.000 car on our roads here throughout Illinois and the Chicagoland area, you just have not lived.... lemme tell ya!!

As a result, the state government currently is going on a publicity binge scaring the bejewels out of whoever they can to make certain they pay the tolls that they blew off while cruising through Hot Rod Blagojevich's baby called IPASS. This translates to "You PASS and THEY PASS, while I PAY" is the true secret is about those little electronic things, so here's what they are doing about that small problem of far too many people cruising through while saying "come get your stinkin tolls you crooks"..

Wasting more money on more signs and bureaucratic red tape and bullspit, that's what they're doing/

The truth is they like when people don't pay, because then they actually set the monetary screws to those people, and my bet is this is only window dressing, so they can actually charge more and claim "YOU were forewarned!"

The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority this week will start testing new, punchier types of signs aimed at grabbing the attention of drivers who unintentionally fail to pay tolls.

The signs will likely have no impact on the 1 percent or 2 percent of drivers -- hard-core toll scofflaws -- who knowingly, and chronically, skip paying tolls.

But officials said they hope the new edgier signs will serve as reminders to pay up to the roughly 4 percent of tollway drivers who mistakenly miss tolls."

Most missed tolls are due to drivers of vehicles that aren't equipped with I-PASS transponders accidentally going through open-road tolling lanes, or drivers not having exact change at entrance ramp coin baskets, officials said.

Drivers face no fines if they submit the missed toll within seven days of the violation. Payment using a credit card or debit card can be made online at www.illinoistollway.com. Missed tolls also can be mailed to the toll authority or paid in person at tollway customer service centers at oases rest stops.

Some of the new signs that the toll authority will experiment with adopt the style of Burma Shave shaving cream billboards dating to the 1920s. The signs were spaced along highways to be read consecutively as drivers and their passengers traveled by.

Some tollway locations will have single signs that say, "UNPAID TOLL? 7 days to pay."

Several design schemes will be tested to gauge driver reaction. The toll authority will follow up with surveys before deciding on a style, said toll authority spokeswoman Joelle McGinnis.

The single signs, while more eye-catching than the existing missed-toll signs, are not as in-your-face as a second strategy that will be tested.

At some spots, such as on Interstate Highway 90 west of Elgin, two signs will be stacked on a post, followed by two more signs a short distance away. It follows the Burma Shave formula. Here is the sequence:

"UNPAID TOLL?"

"PAY IT!"

"DON'T DELAY IT!"

"7 days to pay"

Clearly, it doesn't exude the charm of the old shaving cream couplets, like:

Feel like getting on your next flight this morning now after hearing something as crazy as that? As if these companies and the damn government can't find tens of thousands of highly qualified American's just dying to have a great job like working as airline mechanics making upwards of $110.000 a year?

This revelation is so criminal and I just can't understand why so many Americans (so called at least) on the liberal side of the fence are willing to see American lives in jeopardy as well as born and bred Americans standing on bread and unemployment lines, all so we can be politically correct!!

These bleeding hearts expending all this sympathy for the poor little "undocumented aliens" as they call them, and yet having none whatsoever for their fellow born and bred Americans who are more qualified, just as needy and twice as deserving of these jobs as these illegals are.

We here in Illinois had a similar scandal except with illegal alien truck drivers buying truckers class "C" certifications or licenses allowing them to operate trucks along Illinois highways, a scandal oin the Clinton 90's era that ended up costing the poor Willis family's 6 out of 7 children their young lives all in one truck and car accident.

This tragedy occurred when one single illegal alien was being verbally warned for miles and miles that a piece of his truck's steel bumper was hanging precariously off the back of his rig, which later came dislodged and ended up underneath the Willis vehicle at highway speed, thus igniting a flaming inferno that that mother and father escaped with their lives but were only able to save 1 of 8 children.

All because this selfish man was operating big 18 wheel death machines with not a speck of English under his belt to aid him in reading signage and understanding simple verbal warnings that his truck was falling apart. How he managed as long as he did without someone getting killed sooner is anyone's guess.

The tragedy launched the government's eight-year Operation Safe Road investigation(pdf) of corruption of former Illinois Governor Ryan.

All this illegality in order to fill Republican Secretary of State wishing to be Illinois governor George Ryan's campaign coffers, scandal of which landed Ryan in prison as we all know which is where he still rots away and will likely die behind bars before finally meeting his maker for the real punishment in hell that he so deserves trading licenses for campaign contribution and the lives of the Willis children.

News 8 has recently revealed serious flaws in the way the FAA licenses mechanics who fix planes.

There is evidence of years of problems in testing these mechanics. There is also evidence that hundreds of mechanics with questionable licenses are working on aircraft in Texas.

Now there is evidence of repair facilities hiring low-wage mechanics who can't read English.
