I don't know too many devout Christians who stay away from church as much as this family has in the past year, and if he kept a similar schedule at the Rev Wrong's church, maybe it's true he never heard the Rev's nutty sermons as he claimed.
Because he was probably never there either, since it's all a sham anyhow. That's how he stays loyal to Islam.
