(NECN: Washington) - Former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, this morning addressed a pro-life reception at the Susan B. Anthony List's "Celebration of Life" breakfast.

"Women are standing up and speaking out for common sense solutions...they want a better future for their kids," said Palin of women all across America.

"The policies coming out of D.C. are allowing us to feel empowered," said Palin. "Moms can tell when things are off-base or just not right."
