Simple racial profiling would have stopped every modern day terror act against mankind, including this near miss this morning in Detroit, when a Nigerian Islam following terrorist wannabe nut tried a Richard Reid shoe bomber attack. Which like Reid's, blew up in his face instead, also prompting a nice, welcome passenger beat down in it's wake.

Once again American citizens must defend themselves in the air against a Muslim terrorist because the government doesn't wanna "hurt their wittle feewings".

The initial impression is that the suspect was acting alone and did not have any formal connections to organized terrorist groups, said the senior official who is familiar with the investigation.

The suspect, identified by a U.S. government official as 23-year-old Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, ignited a small explosive device Friday, shortly before a Northwest flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands, made its landing in Detroit, Michigan."
