Sad Sad News: "Flopping Aces Writer Major Chris Galloway Dead at 36"

As a longtime casual reader of the great Flopping Aces blog, I like many was shocked and deeply saddened to hear and read this news over the past couple days that one of their fine writers, among our nation's proudest and toughest had taken his own life back in late June, the 30th to be exact.

A sad fact which wasn't brought to the attention of his blogging readers as well as brothers and sisters until just this past week

All I can say to he and his loved ones is "Rest in Peace Major Galloway as you will undoubtedly be greatly missed, soldier.

"Life and the internet are strange strange things. I’ve been trading emails and posts etc with Chris for years now. It wasn’t at all uncommon for his duties, deployments, and family to make those virtual conversations sporadic from time to time. Well, Chris won’t be returning emails anymore. He passed away suddenly on June 30, 2009." please continue
