Obama hosts underdog Phillies' title at White House By Patting Himself On The Back Again and Again

Obama is one of these people that takes and turns every conversation and moment he partakes in and makes it about himself, am I the only one that notice's this?

They could be greeting martians from Mars at the white house and Obama would say to them "I know how you feel, I have a funny name too Gizmo"....

He did just that yesterday while hosting the Philadelphia Phillies a the white house when he blurts out this self centered "turn the cameras and attention on me" phrase:

'Nobody thought I would win, either.'

He singled out star shortstop Jimmy Rollins for making calls on Obama's behalf during last year's campaign.

No Barack, we were just hoping and praying you wouldn't win, and we lost, as did the country as we can now see only 120 days into this clusterf%$#

USATODAY.com: "WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has told the Philadelphia Phillies that their 2008 World Series run was similar to his winning presidential campaign — both were underdogs.

Obama welcomed the baseball team to the White House on Friday and said, 'Nobody thought I would win, either.'

He singled out star shortstop Jimmy Rollins for making calls on Obama's behalf during last year's campaign. Rollins presented Obama with a jersey and baseball, but the president wanted more. Obama jokingly asked for Rollins' World Series ring.

The Phillies were scheduled to meet the president on April 14. But that visit was postponed after the death of Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas the day before."
