From Penthouse To Courthouse, But No Big House For Madoff The Jagoff Who Put Millions In The Poorhouse

Geez, ya thing this judge might have a little Maddoff payoff in the old briefcase or back pocket to be making these absolutely ridiculous decisions regarding this lowlife and his seeming ability to avoid any quality time in the local New York hokey? I mean, how many regular Joe's and Jill's are sitting in jails all around America as we speak for offenses much less damaging and offensive than this scumdog is accused and guilty of ?

Millions would be an apropos yet likely low number is my educated guess.

So for now there's no bighouse for the man Madoff The Jagoff who lives in the penthouse, while millions around the world are now in the poorhouse because of this shi*head's behavior fit for only an outhouse

Financier Madoff stays in penthouse, avoids jail

"NEW YORK (AP) - A judge allowed disgraced money manager Bernard Madoff to remain free on bail Monday, rejecting an attempt by prosecutors to send him to jail for mailing more than $1 million in jewelry to family and friends over the holidays.

The decision is sure to outrage investors who have been clamoring for Madoff to be sent to jail for allegedly carrying out the largest financial fraud in history - a scheme authorities say he has described as a Ponzi scheme.

If bail had been revoked, Madoff would have been forced from the comfort of his $7 million penthouse where he has been under house arrest and await trial living in a jail cell with nothing but bunkbeds, a sink and toilet.

Prosecutors said the gifts were grounds to have his bail revoked because what's left of Madoff's assets will have to be returned to burned investors.

But the judge was not swayed by the their arguments that Madoff represents an economic danger to the community because of the size of the fraud and his action in mailing the gifts.

Judges in bail decisions normally consider two main factors: whether the defendant is a flight risk or a danger to the community"
